Introduction

Our expertise in DSP based multimedia applications involving demodulation, decompression and video processing combined with our know-how in displays, gives us necessary background to provide design solutions in the area of Digital TV, et Top Boxes & the like thus reducing development cycle. Multimedia Technology

We have worked in both audio & video areas. We have close working relationship with Texas Instruments as third party developers in area of Video Codecs. Our strengths in the area of multimedia are

Digital Signal Processing

  • DSP System Development: involving Hardware development, Software development including optimization for performance parameters, Integration of Hardware and Software and Testing based on Application. We can port the high level application developed on to different DSP platform.

  • Codec / Algorithm Development: involving Audio / Video Encoder and Decoder Development on PC based or DSP processor. We have executed projects like MPEG-2 / 4 Visual Simple Profile development.
  • Audio-Visual Streaming Development: involving Sync & Delivery Layer development for Audio-Visual Codec as per MPEG-2 / 4, standard and Communications protocols RTP / RTSP / UDP / IP / SIP / RTCP.
  • Digital watermarking :Implemented Digital watermarking techniques on Still images in Spatial as well as Transform domain.
  • API development: Development of OS independent API for PC based Audio-Video Encoder and Decoder.
  • Implementation of diverse DSP Algorithms
    • Software development (assembly coding) of multiprocessor system using ADSP2101 DSP processors with high speed inter-processor communication through SPORTs (synchronous serial ports).
    • PCM-DPCM design and software development (assembly coding) on a standard ADSP2101 DSP processor based kit.
    • Algorithms for Frequency analysis (FFT), Filtering (FIR).
    • Double precision adaptive filtering LMS algorithm for active noise cancellation.
    • Establishing SPORT communication between Analog Devices processor ADSP2101 and TMS processor TMS320C26.
    • RS232 serial communication interface to PC directly through SPORT of ADSP2106x, ADSP2101 at 115.2kbps baud without the use of UART.
    • Interfacing SPI port to ADSP2106x Serial port, and achieving serial communication with the PC at 115.2kbps.
