We have successfully completed many projects from concepts to prototypes that have been successfully manufactured for selling in the marketplace. Our designs take care of engineering aspects as well as manufacturability, serviceability, in addition to being based on state of the art technology & components, which give advantages of longevity of designs, cost effectiveness. We do take into account the environment in which the designs have to work, the user profiles as well as other specific requirements.   • We have expertise in Magnetic Component Design, Surface Mount Technology, Multi-layer PCB design & mechanical component design to offer Total System Solution.

  • On mechanical side, we can take up complete mechanical engineering including 3D modeling including form design, packaging, ergonomics etc. Such designs based on AutoCAD or PRO-engineer can be used for detail level component designs (material selection -plastics as well as metal components, tolerencing). CAM outputs directly derived from the above can be used for rapid prototype development, tool design.

  • We have also experience in interfacing with vendors for development of special custom made components such as transformers, motors, display modules etc. We have done designs wherein power circuits such as solenoids; relays etc are interfaced with digital circuits.

  • Hardware designs with board support packages for proprietary operating systems or operating system kernels & low-level device drivers including all production inputs as well as tested prototypes.

  • Many of the designs used different types of displays such as LED (seven segment as well as, dot matrix displays), LCD (seven segment as well as dot matrix), Electroluminiscent, TFT color displays (dot matrix) including development of device drivers for the same.

  • Optimized Product Solutions for systems with limited resources, small footprint & operating in harsh environment in terms of temperature, vibration etc.

EMI / EMC Solutions

Our product design & development background has helped us to develop very good expertise in the field of EMI/EMC to meet most stringent standards. L&T has very good understanding of different international standards such as IEC, ANSI, CSA, FCC, CISPER that stipulates system performance requirements in the area of Conducted / Radiated Emission & Susceptibility for different application environments. These tests are also used for doing failure analysis as well as reliability evaluation even at PCB design stages. L&T has in-house test facilities that help us to take care of compliance with applicable standards during early stages of design cycle & effectively reduce Time to market.
